These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Reel Decoder mobile application, website, and related services at reeldecoder.com (collectively, the “Service”).

The Service is provided by Aura Bionics Inc., a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada (“Aura Bionics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By installing, accessing, or using Reel Decoder, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Important AI, Copyright, and Platform Disclaimer

Reel Decoder produces AI-generated creative interpretations of public short-form video content for inspiration, study, and content planning.

The Service does not know or claim to know a creator’s actual intent, strategy, audience data, or platform analytics.

Breakdowns are AI-generated pattern analyses based on available language, timing, structure, and other signals. They are not factual claims about the original creator.

The “Predicted Attention Curve” is an AI-generated estimate, not real viewer-retention data or platform analytics.

Remix Ideas and generated scripts are creative prompts. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create is original, lawful, and compliant with applicable copyright laws, publicity rights, privacy rights, and platform terms.

Reel Decoder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Meta, ByteDance, Google, or any other third-party social platform.

Reel Decoder is not medical, health, fitness, nutrition, or wellness advice. Outputs are creative content-planning suggestions only. If users select Fitness or other wellness-adjacent niches, generated Remix Ideas, scripts, and CTAs are intended for short-form content planning only and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, fitness, or nutrition guidance. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on any wellness or health-related claim — whether that claim appears in source content you decode, in AI-generated outputs from Reel Decoder, or in your own published content.

2. Eligibility

Reel Decoder is rated 17+ on the App Store and is intended for adults and older teens who create content.

You must be at least 17 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from using it under applicable law.

3. The Service

Reel Decoder is an AI-powered content-planning tool that analyzes supported public short-form video links and produces structural breakdowns, remix ideas, and scripts.

The Service may provide:

Hook Line analysis
Beat-by-Beat Breakdown with timestamps
Predicted Attention Curve
Niche-specific Remix Ideas
Goal-aware CTAs
Generated short-form video scripts
Decode history
iOS share-sheet workflow
Sample Decode demo experience

The Service is provided for inspiration, education, study, and creative assistance.

The Service is not medical, health, fitness, nutrition, wellness, legal, financial, tax, business, marketing, or professional advice.

We do not guarantee that using Reel Decoder will improve your content performance, increase followers, generate leads, produce sales, or create any specific result.

4. Account and App User ID

Reel Decoder may not require an email/password account.

To operate the Service, we may generate a random app user ID on first launch. This ID helps us manage free credits, subscription access, usage limits, decode history, and support requests.

Because Reel Decoder may not use a traditional login system, your decode history may not always be recoverable if you delete the app, reset your device, change devices, or lose access to your app user ID.

If we later add account login, cloud sync, or cross-device history, additional terms or privacy disclosures may apply.

5. Sample Decode

Reel Decoder may include a “Try Sample Decode” demo.

The Sample Decode is a demo experience that uses sample content. It does not require you to submit a real video URL.

Sample Decode results may include sample hook analysis, beat breakdown, Predicted Attention Curve, Remix Ideas, and a sample script.

Sample Decodes:

Do not consume free decode credits
Do not consume the lifetime free script credit
Do not count toward Pro usage limits
Do not trigger the paywall
Are not saved to your normal decode history

The Sample Decode is provided only to demonstrate how the app works.

6. Free Tier

Reel Decoder is free to download.

Free users receive:

3 lifetime real decode credits
1 lifetime real script generation credit

Free credits do not reset monthly.

A “real decode” means a decode started from a real pasted or shared video link submitted by the user.

The first real script generation is included for free. After the lifetime free script credit is used, generating additional scripts requires Reel Decoder Pro.

After the 3 lifetime real decode credits are used, decoding additional real video links requires Reel Decoder Pro.

Free credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money, refunds, or other compensation.

We may change the free tier for future users, but we will not intentionally remove already-used free credits from your account history.

7. Reel Decoder Pro Subscription

To continue using Reel Decoder after your free credits, you may subscribe to Reel Decoder Pro.

Reel Decoder Pro currently includes:

Additional real decode allowances based on your plan
One script generation per successful real decode
Niche-specific Remix Ideas
Goal-aware scripts and CTAs
Decode history
Access to Pro features available during your subscription period

Current Pro plans:

Weekly Pro:
$4.99 USD per week
Up to 25 real decodes per weekly usage period

Monthly Pro:
$9.99 USD per month
Up to 100 real decodes per monthly usage period

Annual Pro:
$79.99 USD per year
Up to 100 real decodes per monthly usage period during the annual subscription

The price shown in the in-app purchase screen is the authoritative price. Pricing may vary by country, currency, taxes, App Store pricing tiers, promotions, or exchange rates.

There is no additional App Store free trial unless the in-app purchase screen explicitly says otherwise. The free credits described above serve as the trial experience.

We do not describe Pro as “unlimited.” Usage limits, fair-use limits, technical limits, and abuse-prevention rate limits may apply.

Unused decode allowances do not roll over to future billing periods unless we explicitly state otherwise in the app.

8. Payment, Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple ID.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings:

Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Reel Decoder → Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of that period.

Aura Bionics does not process App Store payments directly and cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

Refund requests are handled by Apple, not Aura Bionics. To request a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem page or the refund process provided by Apple.

Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

9. User Submissions and Third-Party Content

When you submit or share a video link into Reel Decoder, you authorize us to access, process, analyze, transcribe, and store information from that link as needed to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions, or legitimate basis required to submit a link and use any resulting output.

You agree not to submit:

Private videos you are not authorized to access
Restricted, confidential, or paywalled content
Content submitted through unauthorized scraping, bypassing, or circumvention
Content that violates copyright, privacy, publicity, platform rules, or applicable law
Content used to harass, defame, impersonate, or target another person

Reel Decoder does not grant you rights in any third-party video, audio, image, likeness, brand, or creator content.

The Service may temporarily process source audio, transcripts, metadata, or text for analysis. We do not claim ownership over third-party content submitted by users.

10. License You Grant Us

You grant Aura Bionics a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process the content, links, text, prompts, selections, and other materials you submit solely for the following purposes:

Providing the Service
Generating breakdowns, remix ideas, and scripts
Saving your decode history
Enforcing free credits and subscription limits
Debugging, security, and abuse prevention
Improving reliability and product quality
Complying with legal obligations

This license ends when the relevant data is deleted, except where continued retention is required for legal, security, billing, backup, or legitimate operational purposes.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Reel Decoder to:

Submit private or restricted videos through unauthorized means
Copy another creator’s work in a way that violates copyright or platform rules
Harass, stalk, impersonate, defame, or target original creators
Generate misleading, deceptive, hateful, abusive, illegal, or harmful content
Mass-clone or auto-generate derivative content at scale to flood platforms
Circumvent free credit limits, Pro usage limits, rate limits, or paywalls
Create multiple accounts, devices, or identifiers to abuse free credits
Reverse-engineer, scrape, decompile, or attack the Service
Extract, reveal, or abuse our prompts, systems, models, APIs, or infrastructure
Resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit access to the Service
Use the Service to build a competing product or dataset
Interfere with the Service, servers, APIs, or other users
Violate any applicable law, regulation, copyright rule, publicity right, privacy right, or platform term

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, abused the Service, created legal risk, or harmed the Service, other users, source-platform creators, or third parties.

12. Intellectual Property

The Reel Decoder app, website, branding, logo, design, interface, source code, systems, prompts, workflows, and underlying technology are owned by Aura Bionics Inc. or its licensors.

You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, creator, or internal business content-planning purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Service itself.

All third-party trademarks, platform names, and brand names belong to their respective owners.

13. Generated Output

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use AI-generated outputs from Reel Decoder for your own content planning and creative work.

This includes generated hooks, remix ideas, shot lists, voiceovers, captions, and CTAs.

However:

We do not guarantee that outputs are unique
We do not guarantee that outputs are non-infringing
We do not guarantee that outputs are accurate
We do not guarantee that outputs will perform well on any platform
Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and transforming outputs before publishing

You should not publish outputs blindly. You are responsible for ensuring your final content is original, lawful, accurate, and appropriate for your audience.

14. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content within or processed by Reel Decoder infringes your copyright, contact us at:

Please include:

A description of the copyrighted work
The location or description of the alleged infringement
Your name and contact information
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
A statement that the information you provide is accurate
A statement that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Your physical or electronic signature

We may remove, disable, or restrict access to content or outputs where appropriate.

15. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy:

By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

16. Third-Party Services and Source Platforms

Reel Decoder depends on third-party services, including AI providers, hosting providers, storage providers, payment processors, analytics or crash reporting systems, and public source platforms.

We are not responsible for:

Third-party platform outages
Deleted, private, restricted, unavailable, or geo-blocked videos
Source-platform changes that affect link processing
AI provider outages or errors
App Store billing issues
Internet, network, or device problems
Inaccurate metadata or transcripts caused by third-party limitations

Some submitted URLs may fail. We do not guarantee that every video link can be decoded.

17. Apple App Store Terms

The following additional terms apply to your use of Reel Decoder on Apple devices:

Acknowledgement: These Terms are between you and Aura Bionics Inc. only, and not with Apple. Aura Bionics, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content.

Scope of license: Your license to use Reel Decoder is limited to a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Maintenance and support: Aura Bionics is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Service. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.

Warranty: Aura Bionics is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for the app, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Service.

Product claims: Aura Bionics, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the Service or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the Service fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.

Intellectual property claims: If a third party claims that the Service or your use of it infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Aura Bionics, not Apple, will be responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.

Legal compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist-supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-party beneficiary: Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aura Bionics disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and suitability for your intended use.

We do not guarantee:

That AI outputs will be accurate, complete, original, lawful, or appropriate
That a breakdown reflects the original creator’s actual strategy or intent
That the Predicted Attention Curve reflects real viewer behavior
That every submitted URL will work
That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
That bugs or defects will be corrected immediately
That using Reel Decoder will improve your content performance
That using Reel Decoder will generate leads, followers, sales, authority, engagement, or revenue

You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aura Bionics will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including:

Lost profits
Lost revenue
Lost business opportunities
Lost data
Loss of goodwill
Content performance losses
Platform account issues
Copyright or platform disputes arising from your published content
Reliance on AI-generated outputs

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aura Bionics’ total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greater of:

(a) the amount you paid to Aura Bionics through the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or
(b) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some parts of this section may not apply to you.

20. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aura Bionics Inc., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your submitted links, content, prompts, or materials
Your published or distributed content
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of copyright, privacy, publicity, platform rules, or other third-party rights
Your misuse of AI-generated outputs
Your violation of applicable law

We reserve the right to control the defense of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with us.

21. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Reel Decoder at any time by deleting the app and canceling any active subscription through Apple.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access if:

You violate these Terms
You abuse free credits, subscriptions, or usage limits
Your use creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk
You interfere with the Service or other users
Required third-party services become unavailable
We discontinue the Service

Termination does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, generated output responsibility, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, governing law, and general terms.

22. Changes to the Service

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

We may add, remove, or change features, usage limits, supported platforms, AI models, pricing, plans, or workflows.

If we make material changes that affect your paid subscription, we will provide notice where required by law or App Store rules.

Price changes for subscriptions will be handled through Apple’s subscription system and will apply according to Apple’s rules.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above.

If changes are significant, we may notify users in the app, on the website, or through another appropriate method.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

24. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at:

You agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

This informal resolution process does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief where appropriate.

25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, the courts located in Ontario, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.

If applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local jurisdiction, nothing in these Terms limits that right.

26. General Terms

Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any in-app purchase terms shown by Apple, form the entire agreement between you and Aura Bionics regarding the Service.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, financing, or sale of assets.

Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, cyberattacks, third-party API failures, App Store outages, source-platform changes, labor disputes, war, government action, or infrastructure failures.

Headings: Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

Language: These Terms are written in English. If translated, the English version controls unless applicable law requires otherwise.
